FIOR DI SALE are salt flakes (crystals) extracted from the Sardinian Sea and flavoured with natural lemon. 

FIOR DI SALE, translated from Italian, means "salt flower". These are the original salt crystals of the sea, which formed thousands of years ago naturally, without human intervention, exposed only to the wind and the sun. They are harvested just 60 days a year.

This salt is harvested entirely by hand, using centuries-old traditions and extremely high quality standards. It is naturally sun-dried, not chemically processed or refined, nor washed or bleached, thus preserving the natural minerals in the salt.

"Salt Flower is one of the most luxurious types of salt, valued for its fine and fast-melting crystals, which are spread over the dish. Due to its special texture, it is recommended for use at the end of cooking, when the flakes are used to garnish a dish that has already been prepared. In this way, the rich aroma of the salt itself and the lemon it contains will be fully revealed.

FIOR DI SALE Limone contains lemon peel and pulp, which make up as much as 6%. The lemons chosen for the salt are grown in Italy, hand-picked and carefully inspected. 

The crunchy, light-tasting salt flakes are perfect for garnishing fish, seafood, fruit or vegetable salads.
