Ką iš tiesų gali COBB griliai?

What can COBB grills really do?

You can cook dishes from all over the world

When a practical, compact, modern grill is complemented by multifunctional use - there's no turning back. Whether you're cooking Uzbek ploughman's pie, Asian wok stew, Italian pizza, Spanish seafood paella or home-made fresh berry cakes, this grill can cook absolutely anything.

All Premier models are compatible with "Frying Dish a deeper frying pan - the equivalent of a Chinese wok. It's the same size as the Frying Pan Dix, which can be used to cook a wide range of stews, pilafs, soups, mussels or other seafood.

"Pan The pan is a flat, flat surface pan that is perfect for scrambled eggs, prawns, pancakes, bacon or pizza. And for avid pizza lovers, we recommend the heat-shock-resistant Cobb pizza stonewhich will bake both thin- and thick-bottomed pizzas flawlessly.

On the most popular thick-crust pizza "Griddle Plus plate, traditional beef steak, fish, vegetables or barbecue will cook perfectly.

You can also cook large cuts

COBB for grilling A larger neck, a chicken weighing several kilograms, a fish or a smaller turkey are "no problem".

Even on the Premier model, with the the extension and the rack, you can roast a whole hen. The elevation increases the volume of the grill so that a chicken or other larger piece can be cooked or smoked in an upright position.

It will take at least a few hours to cook a chicken of several kilograms. Place at least 12 briquettes in the grill and grill a 1,5 kg marinated chicken on a rack for at least 1,5 or 2 hours.

The best and most reliable way to calculate the time is not to count the time, but to monitor the internal temperature of the flesh of the chicken as it is being cooked with COBB thermometer  the minimum internal temperature of safely cooked poultry meat (excluding the breast) should be 78 °C and the breast  75 °C. Fully cooked and boneless poultry shall have an internal temperature of 87 °C. The key is not to overcook, i.e. keep an eye on the temperature and do not overcook to keep the food juicy.

How does cooking on a COBB grill differ from the conditions created by an oven? The same principle should be followed as for home oven cooking heat. The only difference is that the COBB grill does not regulate the cooking temperature as precisely as a home oven, and there is no need to adjust it.

The COBB with the universal baking plate becomes an indirect oven with a heat of around 200 °C. The most important thing is to remember to add a full load of briquettes, and if you need a lower heat than usual  add an incomplete bowl. Compared to a home oven, the advantage of the COBB is that a wide variety of foods can be smoked in the COBB.

Smoking

Any COBB grill can easily smoke or smoke both meat and fish. All you need is pieces of wood, wood chips or dust. If you want to add a smoky aroma to your food, throw the chips soaked in water directly on the coals or briquettes, cover and leave for at least ten minutes. The wood chunks will smoke significantly longer.

COBB grills can also be used to smoke food completely. Smoking dust or moistened chips wrap in a foil packet, use a toothpick to pierce 1015 holes and place the packet on top of the charcoal. After 5 minutes, a thick, aromatic smoke will start to emerge from the packet. This intense smoking will last for 30 minutes with one packet40 minutes.

Bake all year round
