Ką daryti ir ko nedaryti kepant COBB grilyje

COBB Grilling Dos and Don'ts

What to do:

  • Before inserting the inner container, check that protective rubber bands is in place because the heated inner container with hot coals will rest against the rubbers of the grill ring. The purpose of the rubber bands of the grill ring is to provide adequate thermal insulation and protect the ring and the grill body from overheating.
  • If you don't have a special lid holder, prepare a heat-resistant place in advance to store the hot Premier or Supreme grill cover or other dishes. COBB is perfect for this cutting table – it has special grooves for deeper insertion of the lid.
  • The original cutting board is also useful in nature, when you want to keep the freshly cooked food from cooling: simply put the food on the board and cover it with a lid - there will be no air gaps.

  • When cooking in the COBB grill, try to lift the lid as little as possible - this will only prolong the cooking time and waste the accumulated heat.
  • No matter what kind of food you are cooking, it should be turned at least once during the entire cooking time.
  • Use it lifting handle: it will be useful both for lifting various heated COBB dishes (Griddle plate, grill, wok pan and other additives), as well as ardel with coal.

  • Use the disposable liner of the inner pot to protect the grill from severe burns.

  • Immediately after cooking, pour out all the liquids and fats that have accumulated in the inner container and that have not yet solidified.
  • After each cooking, be sure to wash the COBB grill. You can also wash it in the dishwasher. To remove strong burning, use special grills and ovens Granit cleaner.
  • Use more coal in winter than in summer.
  • Close the lid while smoking the food.

What not to do:

  • Do not use flammable liquids when tanning your COBB grill. 100% natural twisted wood or wool is perfect for tanning tanners without any additives.
  • Place the grill outside - there can be a lot of smoke at the beginning of the set-up.
  • Do not place cookware (griddle plates, woks, etc.) on the grill while an open flame is visible.
  • Wait until at least 30% of the ignited coals/briquettes in the stack turn gray before cooking.
  • You can cover the grill with a lid only after placing a special accessory/container over the coals, otherwise the lid handle may melt.

  • When cooking, do not add new coals or briquettes to the oven. Fill the fuel when you are not cooking.
  • Do not cover the special openings through which the air enters - it is necessary for it to circulate during the entire cooking process.
