Beech shavings NAPOLEON Beech provide a balanced flavor that complements other wood shavings very well. The most recommended for smoking beef and fish.
Beech is a hardwood, so its chips smoke longer than the chips of ordinary smoking trees.
Before use, the chips should be soaked in water for about 30 minutes. If you want a more intense aroma, you can soak for a longer period of time. To get an even richer and more original smoke aroma, add wood smoking chips to apple juice, pineapple juice, beer, wine or wort.
Soaked NAPOLEON wood chips can be placed directly on embers, coals or used together with a stainless steel smoking cylinder 67011, a stainless steel smoking box 67013 or a cast iron charcoal tray 67732. NAPOLEON PRO 665/825 models have integrated smoking boxes - no additional equipment is needed: pour chips directly into them.
When the chips begin to smoke, place the food on the grill and close the grill or smoker lid.
