For many Kaunas residents, Obelynė is an undiscovered place. This is the homestead of Tados Ivanauskas, the famous naturalist and founder of the zoological museum. Over the years, many plants, both local and brought from far away, have been planted and arranged in a large plot.

The long-cherished garden and park were forgotten for a long time, and only Kaunas Academy Community Center, project 2022 this unique homestead is finally resurrected and opened to visitors. So on a beautiful Saturday morning, the organizers invited all the neighbors and citizens of Kaunas to come and hang out, take a walk and learn more.

The theme of the event is apples and everything about them, from them. The apples were not chosen by chance - T. Ivanauskas especially cherished Lithuania, and in his garden only Lithuanian varieties of apples grow: Antaniniai, Ananasiniai, Vytis and others.

The grillai.lt team also visited the garden and treated the visitors to dishes, fried, boiled and smoked on travel grills COBB. After all COBB grill - perfect for travel and picnics anywhere, anytime: it's light, easy to carry, compact, versatile. The grill can also be placed on grass, a tree stump or even a tablecloth, without fearing that the grass will burn, the leaves will catch fire, the tablecloth will be damaged, and if necessary, it is easy to move it to a more comfortable place.

Big and small guests of the event enjoyed pancakes with caramelized Anthony apples from the nearby apple tree. Many people were surprised that pancakes and apples are so tasty. There is not much of a secret: after all, everything is tastier in nature, and a little salt and butter make apple jam the greatest delicacy!

Baked apples are a dessert that many people remember from their childhood. But after adding a little Weber apple chips the taste becomes much fuller and more interesting!
For those for whom the best dessert is meat, we suggested eating apple juice and in Knorr grill seasoning pickled COBB Grill fried pork neck with apples and cherry tomatoes. We agree with those who say that the new is well forgotten old!

Another dish we cooked on the grills is chicken drumsticks. Easy the smell of apple smoke and baked apples made a seemingly ordinary and simple dish truly extraordinary!

We thank the organizers of the event for a great celebration, a warm reception and a fun time in a cozy, apple-scented environment.
